                        Dr. Jeryl Kershner specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She sub-specializes in the psychopharmacology of behavioral problems. After pursuing her undergraduate studies in Human Genetics at Cornell University she received her Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from the Larner College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society.  Dr. Kershner completed her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson, Arizona where she served on the faculty. She founded Orange Grove Pediatrics and practiced in southern Arizona specializing in the behavioral problems of children and adolescents.


                         Dr. Kershner completed a fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the Developmental Medical Center of Children’s Hospital Boston and completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Department of Child Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School where she served on the clinical faculty. She maintained a private consulting practice at the Child Development Network in Lexington, Massachusetts, a staff appointment in the Sleep Center of the Department of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Childrens Hospital Boston, and was the staff adolescent psychiatrist at the Germain Lawrence School for Girls in Arlington, Massachusetts.

                                        In 2008, Dr. Kershner and Dr. Harsh Trivedi, published a textbook for Pediatricians and Child Psychiatrists titled: Practical Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.


                                    Dr. Kershner is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and the American Board of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, CHADD, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
